In his new book, Pasta by Design, George L. Legendre tackles the mathematics behind the fascinating geometries that make up our favorite pasta. It's a fun read for anyone that appreciates both the art and science of cooking. A great selection of examples are featured in a New York Times article in last week's science section. This is definitely one book on my wish list! Also, now I want to make tortellini.
