Favorite After-School Treat

I remember mine. It was a juicy Macintosh apple plucked fresh from the "little" tree out front that was cut into slices and dipped into a bit of cinnamon and sugar. To me, that was the perfect after-school treat.

I'm sure that you have your memories -- distant or otherwise -- of treasured snacks that found their way to you after school. Whether it was an older brother or sister, Mom or maybe even yourself putting it together, that treat spelled a good end to a hard -- or not-so-hard -- day at school. So this month, we're asking you to share those special treats that made coming home after school something to look forward to each day.
