Welcome to the September issue of Seasoned Cooking. Before I introduce some of the great articles we have to offer this month, I want to tell you about our newest resource. Have you ever wanted to find all of the recipes in Seasoned Cooking that call for chicken? Or have you wished you could find something about how to choose the right paint for a room, but had no idea where to start? Now you can solve those dilemnas and more with Seasoned Cooking's new search utility. Using a similar format to the Internet search engines we are all familiar with, our search engine will return information found in the archives of Seasoned Cooking. You can search for ingredients, tools, and even your favorite writers! In addition to the official search page, you will find search forms on our contents frame, the archives page, and our recipe index.

Now, on to the articles! This month we're introducing a novel new column called Seasoned Opinions. Every month, we'll ask your advice about a topic related to those covered each month in Seasoned Cooking. All answers (and replies) will be posted in our very own BBS. Here's your chance to share your ideas and make new Internet friends. Try it today!

We've also got some great feature articles this month. If you've ever heard of a dinner club but don't know much about them, here's your chance to find out! Dining In is a great article about what dinner clubs are and how you can get involved in one in your neighborhood. Also, we're featuring an article that gives you the ins and outs of how to purchase a good coffee grinder. This is the first installment of a two part feature, so get ready for more coffee know-how next month!

As always, our columns are bursting with great ideas for our readers. You'll find some quick soup ideas for those school lunches in Cooking Ahead. Jenny's tackling the art of decorating kitchens in Home Style. Phil's International Flair shows off some sauces that are sure to star in your next meal and Victoria's Vegetarian Victuals pays homage to the chocolate we all love. We've even got some thoughts on when it's a good idea to skip your workout. And, before you leave us, make sure you let us know how you like puttin' on the ritz in the Readers' Corner. Enjoy your stay!
