Summer brings mixed blessings with it. For many, it's a chance to enjoy the great outdoors more than they might during the rest of the year. Whether it means firing up the grill almost every night of the week to enjoy a grilled dinner or packing a few cold drinks for a long walk along the beach, summer presents us with an opportunity to get "out" more often. Unfortunately, that often means facing a hot glaring sun and humidity that makes you wonder if you'll drown when you take a deep breath! So, summer also gives us all a chance to stretch our minds by finding new and innovative ways to keep cool without hiding away in air-conditioned buildings.

Having said all that, there are many ways to keep your cool during these dog days of summer. Why not share some of your cool summer secrets with the rest of us? We can all use a few more ideas before the cool weather returns. And who knows? You might find a new idea that you hadn't thought of before when you browse through everyone else's ideas!

Each month, we ask a different question here. Your answers and feedback will appear below in the comments section. We encourage you to check out everyone else's answers and make comments and suggestions. This is a great way to get to know people who love reading this electronic magazine. Who knows, your next Internet friend may be a few clicks away!
